Cuddy Mountain

Porphyry

Opportunity – Discovery of a Tier One porphyry copper deposit

Overview: Cuddy Mountain was staked by the Scout team in 2020. The project is located 20 km NW of Cambridge, Idaho, and is hosted within a series of Triassic to Jurassic volcanic and volcaniclastic rocks of the Blue Mountains Province. This region has previously been known to host other magmatic-hydrothermal and volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits in western Idaho and northeastern Oregon.

Historical exploration at Cuddy Mountain has revealed a mineralized porphyry copper occurrence known as the IXL mine. The recent discovery of the Leviathan porphyry copper deposit nearby, made by Hercules Silver Corp. in 2023, has sparked renewed interest in the area. The proximity of the Cuddy Mountain project to the Leviathan deposit suggests a shared geological context and raises the possibility of similar mineralization patterns.

Given these developments, there is a growing belief that the Cuddy Mountain project is part of a larger cluster of Jurassic-aged porphyry copper deposits. This suggests significant potential for further exploration and development in the region, particularly in light of the neighboring discoveries.
